Hi everyone, I need some assistance. My Desktop PC functioned properly until it suddenly stopped responding completely. I powered it off and turned it back on, but nothing happened. It still lights up normally with fans spinning and the usual sounds, yet it won’t display anything on the screen. I discovered that the error codes repeat in a cycle of five different numbers, which the manual says relate to either "early south bridge initialization" or "early memory initialization." After that, the red LED on the motherboard blinks continuously, and it also activates when I press the reset button, restarting the code loop. The motherboard is an MSI Z170A XPOWER GAMING TITANIUM EDITION, and the RAM is a 2x16GB Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 3000MHz setup. Thank you for your help!

I'd reset the BIOS/CSM first. If you need assistance, just let me know. Have you tried checking the RAM connections?

Sure, I looked into the RAM, but it didn’t solve the issue. I’m not sure if resetting the BIOS or CMOS is necessary—I’d appreciate some guidance.

On the back panel, you'll find a button positioned below the USB and PS2 ports at the top. Keep it pressed for 10 seconds while the computer is turned off to reset the BIOS.

If you struggle with the CMOS button, turn off the PSU and let the coin cell power the MB for about a minute. It helped me multiple times since my board uses jumpers instead.

I haven't encountered that before. I attempted it, but it didn't work. Appreciate the suggestion, though—I managed to find a solution.

the two pins to short are located just above the second bottom PCI slot. alternatively, you might want to take out the CMOS battery for a few minutes.
