Am i missing anything, is there anything overkill, would you have any recommendations of anything to change for a decent all round system?

The release of 9800x3d is expected within three days, so it might be wise to hold off. You’re looking for a DDR5 6000 CL30 with Ryzen. I wouldn’t rely on a Gigabyte PSU after the one that caused issues; better go for a similar model from Montech, which includes fans and has received good reviews. With some adjustments, you could build a much quicker gaming setup at a comparable price.

This is the typical use of my computer. If you're playing games, this would be a suitable setup. My suggestion would be to stick with most of the current specifications, except for the upcoming 9800X3D release, which could be beneficial to wait for.
