Hi All,
I’m still getting familiar with this setup. I assembled my first PC during lockdown and haven’t upgraded anything except the RAM. I also had limited knowledge about monitors, so I chose the one I thought would suit me. My question is:
I run World of Warcraft at maximum settings, and benchmarks indicate my hardware performs well—should handle many games, especially WoW without problems. The game runs smoothly, but my FPS averages 40-60 frames per second, sometimes higher, sometimes lower. I anticipate occasional drops in certain areas, though I’d expect more than 40-60 FPS on average. I’m not sure if this is due to the hardware or the monitor, but I’m hoping someone can review my setup and suggest improvements or upgrades.
I also mentioned earlier adjusting settings like maximum refresh rate and overclocking. Here’s the link to my benchmark results from today:

Your CPU is limiting your performance. WoW relies heavily on CPU power. Updating your BIOS, installing a 5700x3d, and using it at 1440p should bring noticeable gains. I upgraded from a 3700x to a 5800x when using my AMD setup with an RTX 2060, and even at 1440p it worked well. WoW also benefits from x3d graphics cards.
