I've just installed the latest version (win764bit PRO) on your laptop, and I'm having trouble locating the SM Bus drivers or finding them on Acer's site. Do you know where I can obtain them? I need them for a cable project related to my car.

It might be a Media Card reader or a USB 3.0 device, since you don’t have Windows 8 or 10. Check the Acer website for options.

I received the drivers for the Media Card reader. Does your laptop support USB3? I don’t remember seeing a blue port.

It supports USB3, but the USB 3.0 drivers aren't listed on the site.

It seems unclear. They might have overlooked adding it, likely expecting a Windows 8 environment. Did you just install the touchpad drivers?
