I set up the server, but no one is connecting. I disabled Windows Firewall, then enabled Device Discovery, yet nothing works. Could a WiFi card or dongle help run a Minecraft world? What do you think?

For a local network where everyone shares the same connection, or for a server that lets friends from different homes join, the setup differs greatly. The LAN appears when people connect to your local network, while the other requires port forwarding if you're behind CGNAT or using a VPN service such as tailscale.

We utilize Radmin VPN for connection, yet when hosting the world it appears but during connection it displays "connection timed out no further information"

Are everyone in the same building and on the same network? Opening your game to a local area network won’t help much. If others are trying to join from outside and you’ve set up a real server, you’ll have to forward the port or else no one can connect.

If you're running the Minecraft launcher on Windows 7 or 8, the firewall might be the main problem across the same LAN network. However, with a Windows 10 launcher, check Xbox, Game Pass, and Live settings first.
