Are you looking for a compatible Lenovo RAM model?
I received a pre-built Legion T5 26AMR5 with just one memory module. I’m trying to add another, but it’s hard to find a compatible replacement and I’m wondering if anyone can suggest an alternative. Since this unit is white-labeled from Kingston, they won’t share details, and Lenovo charges about $250 for an extra stick. Would it be cheaper to buy a new set instead? I’m not giving up, though—I’m looking for a similar model without the white label.
Did you even look at pc stores or amazon? That's super common ram. https://www.amazon.com/HyperX-3200MHz-Si...C-1&sr=8-1
Oh here's a nice set. It's only 16GB though. You'll have much better performance with dual channel however. https://www.neweggbusiness.com/product/p...20-232-194 Sell that single stick of memory, it's garbage.
Thank you for the feedback. I've checked and reviewed the details, but I'm still seeking a second perspective to confirm. It seems the HX432C16FB3/16 or HX432C16FB4/16 models are possibilities, though I'm not entirely sure. Could you clarify if the last digits matter for compatibility?
Yes, it really works. My Intel system runs at 4000mhz, and with the 2700x boost it hits 3733mhz—perfect speed for the price. It's an excellent value for its cost.
The single stick of HyperX DDR4-3200 memory shows unusually high latency settings... 22-22-22-52? Most current DDR4 bundles offer 18-xx-xx-xx or 16-xx-xx-xx timings. Higher capacity versions with improved timings will cost more, starting around $180-$200 or higher.
Thanks for the feedback. Yes, no matter which performance tools I use, RAM always seems to be an issue. Appreciate the various upgrade ideas you shared, which I’ll look into alongside earlier recommendations. Hardware has changed a bit since I last played on a gaming PC—about 15 years ago.
