You just installed and executed the ISO for Windows 10 preview. After completion, you'll need to verify that all personal files, applications, and games are present. Ensure your drivers and settings are correctly configured.

You're moving to Windows 10 because it's still undergoing testing, and the latest updates are important for stability.

I'm testing it in beta on my Surface Pro 3. Personally, Windows 8.1 seemed better. They should improve the multiple desktops to be more similar to Apple's Expose.

I wouldn't change just yet until most titles have a Windows 10 version, which I don't believe many—if any—do at the moment

The beta term isn't a concern for me. I have everything I need to be restored if anything goes wrong, which is highly improbable...

I wasn't aware of this, though they could potentially function. They aren't fully optimized for Windows 10, and even then Windows 8 performed better in games than Windows 7 did.

It's unclear what you're referring to with "W10 isn't final yet." Could you clarify the context?

The main Windows code remains unchanged. Most functions operate correctly, with only minor issues occasionally. Tailoring a game for a particular Windows version isn't really necessary... I'm not sure what you're referring to.

Adjustments needed for Windows 8 and 8.1; older games may have compatibility problems on newer versions.
