What game are you running? COD MW and CW demand significant CPU power, so upgrading to 5800x should boost performance nicely. However, the motherboard is quite poor, so it likely won’t perform well with that speed.

I use 1080p at 144Hz and wonder why not everyone is pushing beta releases for 400-series chips to back Ryzen 5000 series. What’s wrong with this model? I got it as a ready-made unit—no judgment, just convenience.

VRMS performance is limited to 50A. 3600 delivers roughly 40A, while 5800X can reach 80-100A based on cooling conditions.

It's mostly correct. The VRMs are rated for 50A. You can't assume they can handle more. Tell me about the VRMs it uses, their capacity, and whether the board includes passive cooling.

Prime B450-K provides maximum current of 50A. There is no cooling for the VRMs.
