Some reports suggest that combining an Intel CPU with an AMD GPU may not be as efficient as pairing an AMD GPU with an AMD CPU, mainly due to AMD SAM effects. The performance difference between the two setups can vary, but it’s generally noticeable in demanding tasks.

They were completely dishonest! It doesn’t matter at all. Speaking of, if it’s just a game, then a 13600k is more than enough.

The variation is minimal at most. And in reality, even more so.

You're using an NVIDIA GPU paired with an AMD CPU. It doesn't matter which one you have. Manufacturers are working to ensure compatibility across all processor platforms, and CPU makers aim to prevent performance issues when using their components.
