I believe Warzone stands out as the only title where CPU performance matters significantly. In other games, GPU usage is near full capacity while CPU stays moderate or high. During Warzone, my CPU hovers around 80-90% while GPU remains idle at 0-3%. (GPU temps stay below 60°C.) At maximum settings, I manage about 30-40 FPS depending on the situation. I expected steady 60fps when nothing was happening, but tops out near 45fps. It seems my Ryzen 5 4core might be limiting the GTX 1050. Should I attempt overclocking it? I previously boosted it to around 3.9GHz before overheating issues appeared, but that was without a new case or advanced cooling. Could CPU overclocking help boost performance by at least 10fps? Thanks. Edited February 14, 2021 by podkall

You can check GPU utilization with various tools and methods, such as system monitoring apps, command-line utilities, or built-in performance counters.

Task Manager prob doesn't worn in Warzone, I tryed both with and without fullscreen if that was affecting it. My CPU doesn't have iGPU. It's Ryzen 3 1200 as shown in my signature.. Also before you ask I have plenty of room in RAM on 16GB with 3000Mhz.

Task manager occasionally behaves poorly and misdisplays hardware details. With a GTX 1050, performance remains strong in Warzone.

It remains a performance issue because other programs also lag, especially when the Warzone feature is active. This problem mainly occurs during Warzone runs and isn't limited to just that mode.

Warzone requires a lot of CPU power, but your GPU often becomes the limiting factor during gameplay. The GTX 1050 isn’t especially strong, and Warzone can handle much higher settings smoothly at 1080p.

Don't overlook the non Ti 1050, it remains a solid GPU for smooth gaming at 60 frames per second across various titles.
