I recently assembled a new PC in May and only discovered Asus's issues with frying AM5 CPUs when using DOCP/EXPO later. I've had DOCP II and DOCP I active for the past couple of months and have observed slower boot times compared to when I first built it. I'm curious if turning DOCP on will cause performance drops, affecting just the CPU or also impacting other components. Would replacing the CPU and updating the BIOS resolve the problem, or could the motherboard and RAM have been affected too? PC Build: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/gJbzqm

Ensure your BIOS is current, since you're using a brand new system. Recent updates from the past year are important for stability.

If your board wasn't shipped with the updated BIOS that restricts voltages when EXPO/XMP is active, you should upgrade to that BIOS (based on your motherboard's support page, likely version 1601 dated 4 May). After updating, your CPU will be more protected. This applies mainly to X3D CPUs; non-X3D models are less affected, so longer boot times probably aren't tied to this problem.
