Are you experiencing issues with your new RTX 3060 Ti? Loading loops after putting it to sleep.
System: Consider returning the RTX 3060 TI if you have time to buy a new one. Otherwise, there seems to be no clear fix for the boot loop issue with your current setup. The problem might be linked to the GPU or power configuration. Check if other users have resolved similar issues and explore BIOS updates or hardware compatibility.
Sorry, I don’t have another device to try. I might just send it back while I can. I haven’t seen any problems lately, even during intense gaming sessions. Better to be cautious.
Did you reinstall Windows after switching from the 3050 to the 3060 Ti? You might want to run DDU and update drivers—ideally to a newer version. In fact, I suggest giving it back and not purchasing the 3060 Ti. The 6700 XT is available at a much lower price and performs slightly better.
I just followed DDU as recommended by Pixelfie, using safemode and downloading the driver from Nvidia after a restart. Still, the same problem continued. I put the system into sleep mode and woke it up again, but the boot loop persisted. This time, after reinstalling the graphics drivers, the system booted to Windows at an unusual resolution, and the drivers weren’t installed properly. I reinstalled them again, but the issue returned when I went to sleep mode. Eventually, switching to a different GPU resolved the problem completely. I reached out to Amazon to replace the card, but they suggested contacting Zotac instead. I had already registered the card for warranty, so I’m waiting to hear back and hope the process takes some time.
Zotac contacted me about updating the BIOS, but I’m worried it might introduce new problems. Everything seemed fine with the 3050 version before, and changing it could cause further issues. My Aorus B450 pro WIFI board is currently F61, while the newest models are around F63b or higher. Should I proceed with the update or avoid it?
I updated my BIOS to the newest release (F63b) and set up the 3060 TI, but the problem continues. Switching into sleep mode and waking up triggered another BSOD, and restarting worked without the drivers again. Reinstalling the BIOS caused the error. After replacing the card, everything functioned properly. I plan to return the original card and purchase a different brand, such as MSI.
Sent back the Zotac card and received an RTX 3060 TI from MSI, which was even slightly cheaper. It’s functioning perfectly so far—looked unopened at first. Probably just a bad apple.
