Do you have anyone with you who can assist me with this issue? I checked another forum, but they didn’t explain how to prevent hardware from reserving memory. I have a 4GB drive connected, with 21MB reserved. I also have an 8GB drive, a 4121MB reserve, and a 5GB drive. It looks like whatever I put in the second slot of my motherboard defaults to being reserved. I’m curious why this is happening.
Your BIOS is assigning additional system RAM to your iGPU. You can access the BIOS settings and reduce the aperture size to around 256MB, allowing you to utilize your full available memory. Reminder: This adjustment may reduce game performance but won't impact everyday activities like web browsing or video watching.
