In the last few months, certain games I play have been facing significant FPS stuttering problems. These issues seem to occur mainly in GPU-intensive titles.
The stuttering happens consistently and repeats every half second. For instance:
Helldivers 2:
On ultra settings, I achieve around 120fps. Each second it fluctuates rapidly between 120/80/120/80/120/80/120. This speed is fast enough to notice a noticeable jump in gameplay.
A point worth mentioning (uncertain if relevant) is that the GPU time also increases when the FPS stutters. As my FPS drops, the GPU timer rises proportionally.
If my FPS falls from 120/80, the GPU time jumps from 9.0ms to 12.0ms at the same rate as the FPS, leading me to suspect a GPU-related cause.
I have tried: installing all current drivers, testing RAM sticks, swapping installations across different drives, and reinstalling Windows. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Can you list your full system specs so people know what hardware you are having trouble with. Please include PSU make and model.

Please verify the specifications of the PSU, as there are both high-quality 850W models and less reliable ones available. What resolution are you using? Does lowering the quality settings in the game impact frame rate or consistency? Which other titles experience this issue, and do some run smoothly? From what I see online, many people mention Helldivers and choppy frames are common problems.
