Hi, I'm searching for a strong laptop suited for audio production. I prefer a PC model and have a budget around 2500 dollars. I've heard that the new i9 processors are expected soon in the first half of 2025—should I wait? Or would they be better than AMD options? Also, is there any chance of new AMD processors being released for laptops this year?

It is mainly intended for music production tasks as well
Programs that consume a lot of CPU are suitable
For video editing, preferably with a QHD or 4K screen
I haven’t recorded any additional data since I’m considering whether to wait for the upcoming computers
Is it worth waiting?

For audio, a Mac is more suitable. It provides access to superior software and also excels in video editing due to broader software availability.

Thank you for the offer.
I believe I don’t have the budget for a powerful MAC at the moment because it’s more costly in a laptop PC, allowing me to get better performance for that price. Should I wait for the new processors that are expected this year? Which is superior, AMD or Intel?
