I focused on fine-tuning to find what works best for me instead of pushing for maximum output. The green line seems to be my top choice. A slight improvement in performance with cooler temperatures—mostly done via Ryzen Master.

I believe optimal performance comes from a modest CPU and GPU throttling, a slightly lower voltage setting, and pushing the RAM and VRAM overclock to make up for it. Yes, Ballistix can achieve impressive speeds (up to 4600+) based on the chip and setup, though you haven’t specified the exact model or configuration. It’s possible you have an older Ballistix Sport kit with subpar components or a quad-rank chip, or maybe you’re using a high-speed OC profile for mobile RAM.

I didn't really push it much (and this was my first attempt at checking it) and it was set by hand using some random ideas ;o). For comparison, the actual Ram is Crucial Ballistix BL2K16G30C15U4B Mobo, which matches a Gigabyte B550M Aorus Elite.

4x16 setup? It remains dual-rank, just four single-sided sticks instead of two dual-sided ones. You should be able to handle at least 3600 cycles since the rev e is light on the imc, though I’m unsure it will exceed 4000 because the board quality is poor. I’m pretty sure there are profiles for a 3600 c14 configuration depending on your IC type—search online for it. Since micron values are consistent, you should be able to install it easily. I also recommend checking out the thaiphoon burner to check available ICs. A 16Gb rev B is preferable, while a 16Gb rev E is less ideal (worse than 8Gb rev E). Max safe voltage is around 1.5V if you’re running without a fan due to heat concerns. A 1.6V is acceptable as long as you have compatible kits with XMP support (like DJR, B Die, RevE/B, etc.). I wouldn’t recommend exceeding 1.7V unless you’re targeting over 3800 c14, because these micron ICs can benefit from lower voltages. You might need more than 1.5V if you’re pushing beyond that, but it’s safer to stay under 1.6V to protect the imc. Unless you’re aiming for very high currents, sticking to around 1.6V should be fine. Just keep in mind that every stick behaves differently, so testing is key. For more guidance, check out the github DDR4 OC tutorials and buildzoid videos—they have useful content for beginners. You can also find some online discussions on ram OC forums for additional tips.

It's mostly driven by curiosity rather than necessity. Every day it's handling exactly what I require.

Damn quad rank, pretty bad setup. That IC is available on 2666 bin crucial bare PCBs, though it seems to be one of the best you can find there. It doesn’t matter much here because the weight on the imc is high, but the rev e is light enough for a 3600 C14 to work. You might just adapt someone else’s profile and make small tweaks or adjustments. New 3200 and above ballistix bins are really good (d9wfl), which makes them better than these 2666 bin versions. c9bjz is the top pick among these, and 5000+ is still possible on them, so you probably won’t need much detuning.
