Ordered a new GPU upgrade; should I also consider upgrading my PSU? Here’s the current setup.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 3.6 GHz 8-Core Processor
MB: Asus TUF GAMING X570-PLUS ATX AM4
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws V 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16
PSU: SeaSonic FOCUS Plus 650 Gold 650 W 80+ Gold Certified
GPU: EVGA FTW2 GAMING iCX GeForce GTX 1070 Ti 8 GB
If I were to change the CPU to 5700x, 5800x or 5800x3d, would these PSUs still work?

Alternatively, either of those PSUs would work well. Both are solid options. I’d likely suggest the RMx instead of the GX.
But your existing Focus Plus 650W unit should also function adequately unless you encounter any issues.

Thank you for the response and the instructions. Moving forward, I'll keep using my fully working PSU. Should I upgrade the CPU, I'll follow your suggestion to switch to the Corsair RM850X.

I would consider 1k if possible, as it would last a long time for me. 850 remains a solid PSU.
I received a 1k back in 2016 and I still use it now.

Why would anyone require a "1k PSU" for a graphics card that stays well below the power limits of even the most powerful processors? It seems illogical, especially since such high power demands are rarely necessary. I’m not sure if you have any insight into this, but it definitely doesn’t make sense to me.
