I have a Red Devil XTX GPU installed and sometimes the AMD drivers cause it to draw more power than it should. This leads to a faint clicking noise from the PSU when that happens. My system has a Ryzen 7700 CPU, two hard drives, an SATA SSD, two NVMe drives, and a Blu-ray drive. I believe the power supply is sufficient for everything, and the PSU seems stable when closing programs. EVGA mentions it sounds unusual, but I don’t want to risk replacing it since other Gold-rated PSUs with similar power draw also made the same noise. All cables are secure, nothing is loose. Should I try it without knowing or go for a replacement?

If you've reached out to EVGA, they should be able to offer the most accurate response. Certain models may include internal relays producing a clicking noise, especially during inrush current.

It's buzzing and humming, which is something to take seriously. However, give the PSU a thorough cleaning (avoid letting the fans spin during the process) as it might be the reason. I'm not sure I consider EVGA's PSUs reliable, but if your lights and temperatures are normal, it's probably just a minor issue.
