Are you asking if these items function well together?
I purchased an OEM unit that is a bit outdated. It includes a sandy bridge Intel i5-2400 processor, which I plan to install on a newer Asus motherboard. Here’s the link to the product: https://www.ebay.de/itm/195632979372?mkc...media=COPY Would it fit with the PSU I considered buying? The PSU I thought about is the Be Quiet! This motherboard actually works with the i5-2400 processor. However, considering its age, it doesn’t justify the cost. The system is essentially the same as the original OEM board, and the power supply isn’t much better. You won’t see any performance boost from this low-end option.
Suggest replacing the original parts with a more recent model. For a 12-year-old CPU, it doesn’t offer value and isn’t a good investment. Even entry-level i3 chips from today’s designs perform much better. It’s wise to adjust your approach.
