It requires a lot of training as well as picking a weapon you enjoy and studying the maps. On BF3 I rely on the F2000 and M16A3 with an ACOG, using Close Quarters TDM settings and doing pretty well. Even in BF4, I’ve only recently improved after discovering weapons I like and adjusting my scope to make it nearly invisible.
