Are Windows captions damaged?
The Windows captions were functioning properly before that changed. After entering win-ctl-L enter, the icon appears in the taskbar tray, but it doesn't open the captions window on the screen. Anyone have any suggestions on how to fix or replace this issue? Thanks.
Try turning it off and then back on to check if the captions window functions.
Press the Start button, type "Task Manager" in the search bar.
Select "Open" and pick the "Processes" or "Details" tab.
Then pick "Live Captions" or "Livecaptions.exe" and click "End task" at the top.
Please remember this method is only suitable for disabling Live Captions in Windows 11.
Microsoft also provides a keyboard shortcut: Windows + Ctrl + L to enable it.
