I mainly rely on steam fps counter and msi afterburner to display the actual fps values. The screen shows two counters: steam indicates 199 fps while the msi afterburner displays 201 fps. Both are running simultaneously, causing interruptions in the frame.

Running two identical apps can actually be harmful since they consume resources. It would be better to use only one app to display your frame rate.

Whenever I play the game, both programs run at the same time and I notice their FPS values stay consistent from Msi Afterburner and Steam. I was curious yesterday when it suddenly stopped showing the fps from Afterburner and only displayed GPU and CPU usage in Msi Afterburner, while my fps remained visible. This change occurred when using Steam as the sole fps monitor, and I observed a noticeable improvement in frame rate with that setup.
