after a three-hour gaming session i'm checking if my thermal pads and paste are in good condition. i'm also wondering if the highest temperature reading is typical for this setup.

Over the years, how many times have you removed the loop and checked the restrictive components? Those temperatures aren't what you'd expect during under-watercooling. Additionally, did you carry out any undervolting on your GPU? Finally, kindly share the parts list for your watercooling loop in the image above.

I haven't touched the water block of the graphics card for two years, and I'm not sure if the temperature has stayed consistent since then because I only began monitoring it recently.
Key Components:
- CPU block EK-Quantum Velocity² D-RGB
- GPU block EK-Quantum Vector² EVO Strix/TUF RTX 4080 ABP Set D-RGB
- Pump/Reservoir EK-Quantum Kinetic TBE 200 D5 PWM D-RGB

The power usage efficiency reached only about 77%, which isn't very promising without frame constraints in place. Two years is a reasonable duration, but upkeep is definitely needed.

It would depend on the frequency of hitting that peak temperature and the duration of each peak. A visual graph depicting the length of the peak temperatures would be more helpful.
