I'm evaluating cable extensions for my Thermaltake Toughpower GF1 750W PSU. The options from Cablemod are about 80$ USD, while AsiaHorse 18AWG cables cost around 34$ CAD. I'm mainly worried about using PSU cables and avoiding cheap, potentially risky products that could damage my system during extended use. Amazon reviews suggest they're reliable, though I don’t know many users with experience compared to other brands. My main thought is these cables should work with my GPU (RTX 3060) and PSU, but I want to confirm before making a purchase to prevent any hardware issues.

Extensions work with any ATX PSU.
The Asiahorse cables are of poor quality—18AWG where Cablemod uses 16AWG. However, GF1 is fully modular. I’d prefer modular replacement cables for better voltage stability and safety. The connectors on extensions pose an additional risk.

Are there any brands that don't cost a lot like those CableMod ones? My idea was to connect these extensions straight to the PSU and then to the GPU. If that's not feasible, do you know any brand or method that works in that way? Also, is it safe to use AsiaHorse cables?
