The router's capacity matches what your network can handle. With a mesh setup using wireless back-haul, it's pulling the network's maximum speed. Having around 20 devices and a Plex server all connected puts a strain on throughput. Removing the child node or switching to a wired connection would boost speeds. TL;DR, the issue isn't Windows 11—it's likely your Wi-Fi card or network setup. You might want to check the PC's Wi-Fi adapter and think about upgrading your wireless connection.

It seems like this situation involves Microsoft, though I’m unsure if the problem is fully fixed. I’m worried about whether others are still facing the issue and if a better solution hasn’t been released yet. Upgrading the network is an option, but it might not be the best choice right now.

I've faced numerous issues with Windows networking not functioning optimally, even on wired connections. Luckily, since most of my file transfers happen on Linux, I could simply overlook these problems until a Windows Update resolved them. I'm not aware of any current Win11 problems, but having used my laptop for years has left me uncertain about potential WiFi-related challenges.

Are all your drivers current? I'm checking with my Qualcomm FastConnect 7800 HBS adapter on the motherboard, even though I know it performs well. Still, I'm using the latest version.

I assembled a new workstation last month and performed a complete 24H2 installation with Rufus. There were no problems with the WiFi connection using the Media Tex card that came pre-installed. A TP Link router supports three PCs and additional devices, and the speeds are satisfactory (RCN Cable).
