Are there problems with the AMD iGPU driver and NVIDIA dGPU driver?
Hey all, so i've been getting these very rare situations where my PC would freeze for 3 seconds, black screens for 1 sec, and then goes back to normal as if nothing ever happened. Though upon checking the windows problems report, I see that the AMD driver is the culprit (need confirmation from pros), here's the log:
Description

The issue never happens when im heavy gaming (even in cyberpunk-2077 ultra with RT on high @ 1440p + DLSS Quality), it mostly happens when im doing light stuff like browsing with chrome or scrolling on steam.
i never use the igpu for anything, so could it cause issues if it's not ever used? I dont have a second monitor either.
Any insight is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance
have you attempted using DDU to eliminate the CPU's graphics drivers? that seems like the only option I've considered.
I haven't seen it myself, but I noticed some discussions on Steam forums suggesting it shouldn't have any problems. I usually don't trust Steam users with technical matters, which is why I'm here. It occurs quite rarely, maybe once a week, so I wouldn't be able to confirm if the issue continues right away. I'd appreciate feedback from people with more technical experience before I proceed.
Just removed the AMD driver using DDU, but then I noticed the DP cable was in the GPU port instead of my RTX 4070 after cleaning around a month ago. Oops. After putting it back in its correct place, I think the problem should be resolved. Still will post if the thread remains open.
