They differ from one another, you can purchase individual cables directly from EVGA. The 6+2 model costs $6. Don't take chances, even if it fits—it could damage your equipment.

Avoid using cables from different manufacturers. This point was briefly referenced in Taran's Intel upgrade tutorial (the embedded clip is time-stamped). Updated July 13, 2022 by saint_louis_bagels

Some PSU cables are interchangeable...but require high level electronics experience/tools to determine suitability...I have used different brands/models for modular cable interchange - but unless you have the knowledge/skills/tools to check properly...DO NOT ATTEMPT! As you can easily damage [read f^ck up totally] hardware and so it is not worth trying if you're just guessing. Even though different brand modular cables may fit other branded PSUs...there is no standard between them and frequently the pin configurations are different...so 12 volt +ve may be totally the opposite on other unit...even between brands...different model PSU pins may have different outputs...BE VERY AWARE OF THAT POSSIBILITY!!
