I just completed a clean install and everything is running smoothly. I accessed the desktop, followed the updates, reset Windows as instructed, and now I’m still encountering issues with BSOD on the lock screen. It’s very unpredictable—I can sometimes get into the desktop, but the extra drives aren’t connected at all.

Both installations were completed without connecting the extra HDDs. I performed a fresh setup using only the m.2 drive and still achieved the same outcome. The process requires some time to load into the desktop, which is quite slow. Are there any BIOS configurations I should examine? Is my equipment outdated or is that the reason?

does the system start up using only the m2 drive connected (no other drives attached)
(i thought you had multiple drives with an mbr on them)
if you can't boot with just the m.2 drive installed, i would make sure the bios is current, and the drive is correctly placed. i wouldn't enable any encryption. after the windows install, i would add any motherboard drivers from the vendor. then check in the windows event viewer to see if there are any disk errors coming from the drive.

the only issue I dislike is the image you uploaded with BSOD; my thoughts turn to your graphics card. If you have another older one that works, try using it without installing the drivers.

here are the dates for nvm spec versions. you should verify your bios date and match it with the nvm drive you possess to confirm the versions are correct. older bios may contain bugs or outdated spec versions.

Hello there, here is the .zip file. I thought it was from the new Windows installation this morning, but after setting it up, I encountered one of the distorted BSODs I mentioned earlier, along with the Inaccessible Boot Device screen.
https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/ay5y...nA...n2dx9&dl=0
I was expecting that, but I didn’t want to reply without being sure. Yes, I installed Windows 11 24H2. It boots up, but I’ve been experiencing these constant distorted BSODs and frequent restarts—about 10 to 15 seconds when I reach the lock screen or open the desktop. I replaced the drive and updated the BIOS to the latest version before this installation.
I understand what you’re saying, but at the same time, I received a GPU in May 2023 and never had any problems with it. My last blue screen was in 2020, I believe.
Since I went back from my errands, I turned on the PC, accessed the desktop without issues, installed the AMD chipset and GPU drivers, and followed the restart prompt. Then I wrote this down. Honestly, at this point I’m quite anxious about restarting the system lol.

To create the Win ISO for USB, you need a program designed for USB creation. The specific tool depends on your operating system and requirements.

I updated my BIOS with a release date of 9/25/2024. After checking Crystal DiskInfo, it shows the standard for my drives is NVM Express 1.4. I used the Windows Media Creation Tool from the provided link: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software.../windows11. For each installation, I used a different USB drive and ran it on two different computers.

Retry the installation once more. Download the latest ISO from Microsoft and create the USB using Rufus.
