Are there any truckers around?
Are there any truckers around?
You need a wheel and pedals to really appreciate this game. It pulls you in completely. I used to struggle with traffic on my way to and from work. Once I get home, what do I do? I love driving a truck—it’s incredible.
Absolutely! I’d love those things too. I was really drawn in for a while with KB and M, and I think I might become hooked if I had the right wheels and pedals.
I acquired the truck from an unknown source. Here’s the link: [insert link]. For your reference, I use a mouse, a Wacom tablet, or a MacBook touchpad for gameplay. The steering control works fine at low speeds; only the throttle and braking feel limiting. I previously owned an Xbox controller but left it at my parent’s place. I’m not sure it will function on OS X either.
Few people admit spending 20 USD on a truck for more than 60 hours. I don’t drive with wheels or pedals, as those can be costly—maybe I’ll look for cheaper options at a yard sale. Despite that, the game remains quite fun using the keyboard and mouse. I’m excited to get American Truck Sim soon, but I’m curious about its handling of a large map and detail level. It would be great to drive it in my home country. My company is small, so my top truck choice has always been the Volvo FH16 Sleeper—the most affordable one I’ve owned. I’ve purchased it for all my staff.
I once enjoyed it and still do, though I haven’t played it often these days since driving in everyday life (except for a truck).
