Hi, I just set up a new PC and faced an issue. Connecting my 144hz monitor to the 3070 caused the whole system to shut down when I pressed the keyboard to access the "enter pin" screen. However, with a 60hz monitor it worked perfectly. Once I reconnected the 144hz monitor to the GPU, everything functioned normally until I turned off and back on the PC, then tried accessing the "enter pin" screen again. Also, when I added my old 2060 graphics card into the new system, everything operated as expected. I suspect either the GPUs have problems or the PSU isn’t powerful enough for the 3070. If anyone has advice, it would be really helpful.

Check for compatibility problems by examining the event viewer during shutdown. Try using another DP or HDMI cable. Update the BIOS. Ensure Windows was recently installed with the new hardware. Verify that all power connectors are plugged in on both sides—GPU and PSU included.

I've tested DisplayPort and HDMI on the 3070. I've updated the BIOS, Windows is fresh installed, and the power connectors are on both sides. Check the Event Viewer now.

Reinstall the nvidia.com driver using the fresh install feature, and then attempt to use the ddu uninstaller.

I just completed a new installation after using DDU, but it's still not functioning properly. I'm encountering this error again in Event Finder.

You're unsure about the background of this PSU? I wouldn't rely on it, regardless of its age.

I didn't realize that. I've placed an order for a new PSU arriving this month, and the model number is CMH32GX5M2E6000C36.

Intel XMP profiles are available. I noticed several stability problems with this kit on AM5 boards. Please return it and request RAM with AMD EXPO profiles. Is the 3070 a used item?
