Here’s your text rewritten with the same length and structure:

Hi,
I’m facing a sudden and quite annoying issue. After burning 'Audio Discs' with CDBurnerXP for years (using MP3s) without any issues—always working with Verbatim CD-Rs—I’m now repeatedly encountering this error message each time:
"CStarBurn_SCSITransportSPTI: ExecuteCDBO: Command failed - Internal SDK Error," along with complaints about low-quality media.

The situation unfolded this way: I purchased a new high-end PC with the specifications listed, connected my reliable external DVD burner Asus Slim SDRW-080 D2S-U Lite, and consistently received the same message—whether using Verbatim CD-Rs or my external Asus Slim Blu-Ray Writer. Even when switching to a new Asus Slim SDRW burner, the same error appeared. I also encountered this problem with Nero Burning ROM/Express.

Recently, the same message popped up on my old PC, even though I hadn’t experienced any prior issues. When using high-quality media, the error disappears and the burn job works fine. However, I still face digital glitches on the last few tracks. This is really frustrating and odd.

I’m using the most recent Windows 10 64-bit version on both systems.
What could be causing this problem?

It's time to look for a new app for burning CDs.
This is the issue at hand.
Based on the app's name, it might be over 15 years old, and its format could not work with the latest Windows 10 version.
Finally - such challenges are best discussed in the app's support forum.

I possess another version of this issue—since the CDXP forum is no longer active, I’m seeking possible solutions.
I own two laptops: one running an older Windows 10 and another a newer Windows 11.
Using Verbatim CD-Rs through the internal drive on the older laptop works fine, everything functions properly.
However, when I connect an external drive to the newer laptop, the same error appears, with complaints about poor media quality, though it previously worked.
Interestingly, the external drive can burn a Verbatim CD-RW at 4x speed, which matches the advertised rate for CDs.

I rely on the same app across Windows 10 and 11.

The CDXP Forum is now closed, which is why I found myself here; the link won't work anymore. The strange part is why it stopped functioning suddenly—there doesn't seem to be a clear explanation at the moment.
