Are there any issues with stuttering when playing on a new build?
Hello everyone,
I’ve been playing console games all my life, but recently I switched to PC. I set up my system over the weekend using video tutorials, but I’m facing some problems while playing. For instance, in Black Ops 6 the packet loss warning keeps appearing, there’s stuttering every few seconds, and the FPS swings between 43 and 315, which makes it hard to play. I’ve checked that my BIOS, GPU, and CPU drivers are all current. I also turned on EXPO II for RAM and Precision Boost Overdrive for the CPU. After adjusting several settings, the issue still persists. I’m looking for someone more experienced who can help find a solution. Thanks!
Welcome to the forums, newcomer! Could you please mention the BIOS version on your motherboard? Is this problem specific to Black Ops 6? There are reports suggesting some bugs in the game. By the way, did you install the operating system in offline mode? If you let the OS download and install all required drivers, that could be the cause. Use DDU to remove all GPU drivers (Intel, Nvidia, AMD) in Safe Mode, then manually install the latest driver from AMD's support site via an elevated command—right-click the installer and select Run as Administrator.
