Are there any games playable solely with a mouse's analog stick?
Are there any solutions for incorporating a traditional analog joystick (operating on Windows 7) into games restricted solely to mouse control? I possess arcade guns connected to my PC via an Ultimarc Apac, which function flawlessly within MAME, yet fail to operate with gun-based games in the Model 2 emulator. Titles such as Gunblade, mirroring fixed analog guns from their arcade origins, are limited to mouse input exclusively.
Consequently, I require software or hardware enabling analog positional devices to emulate a mouse cursor within Windows. I’ve previously experimented with Troubleshooter 2 and Joy2key, but neither has proven effective. Is there a viable option for this conversion? Ideally, it would facilitate accurate mouse cursor placement; however, Joy2key exhibits excessive sensitivity, resulting in the cursor abruptly moving to the screen's periphery with minimal joystick movement.
