I'm focusing on direct combat experiences. For first-person melee, Hellraid and Dying Light come to mind, though they're upcoming titles. Generally speaking, most fighting games—like Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, Injustice, King of Fighters, Blazblue, Skullgirls, Tekken, Devil May Cry, Godhand (PS2), Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, Sleeping Dogs, Batman: Arkham, BloodRayne: Betrayal, Strider, and Castle Crashers—are all melee titles.
