I'm trying to work with my HP Pavilion Gaming 15, equipped with a Ryzen 5 5660H and integrated Vega 8 GPU. The motherboard is the original HP laptop board. I'm having trouble accessing the "advanced bios" or adjusting my RAM XMP profiles. I'm currently using 8GB of 3200MHz DDR4 SODIMM RAM. I need a way to enable higher speeds, like 3200MHz or faster RAM, and possibly some software that works with HP products to fix these speed issues. Could anyone suggest alternatives or tools for this? Thanks!

Heh. It might not be one thing. HP is an OEM desktop manufacturer and has been for a long time. They’re known for creating their own BIOS and keeping things very minimal. The idea that you can speed things up by changing something is not true for either HP or Dell. For the same reason.

With the non-gaming pavilion 15, the 3700U inside can hold up to around 2733 units, though HP says the 2666 sticks in the machine are limited to a maximum of 2400 on an APU. The HP BIOS includes: boot time and date options, Legacy versus "UEFI", and Secure boot settings.
