Okay. Most CPUs just sit quiet for 30 to 35 degrees, and some go up to 40. When you game, the CPU gets hot, usually around 60 to 70 degrees. This is normal if your computer is well cooled. There is no way your system will show a gaming CPU temperature of 34 degrees while you are playing. That number should only happen when nothing else is using it (idle). GPU cards get even hotter though, often between 75 and 90 degrees, and some can reach 100 degrees just fine. The only thing that makes sense here is checking the actual temperatures under load, which isn't what we are seeing right now. You need to find out your real gaming temps.

I bought a Corsair RM750X but something is breaking things right now. Both "Hell Let Loose" and "Elden Ring" are crashing my games. In the first game, I got an error like "LowLevelFatalError [File:Unknown]" after about two minutes of playing. The game says the graphics card lost its power because it was overheating. With Elden Ring, it just stops working around five minutes in. I installed MSI Afterburner to check my heat levels while playing Elden Ring. My GPU got hot between 108 and 124 degrees Fahrenheit. My CPU stayed a bit hotter at 116 to 131 degrees Fahrenheit. I really hope this isn't my graphics card. I never overclocked it and only used it for gaming when it was new from NVIDIA in 2019, back then.

I finally tried running something called Benchmark on my PC, but it stopped working right away and didn't even finish loading. When things were going okay before the crash, the computer's graphics card got really hot, reaching 135 degrees Fahrenheit, while using up to 92 percent of its power.

For C or F? Why does the computer say 108 when it should be 109? Having the CPU get too hot makes sense. If the display shows 42 degrees, then 108F is just a tiny bit hotter than normal. The D3D card is my video screen. So I think something's wrong with the screen itself. Maybe the card is getting old or broken? First, I'll trade it for a friend's one to see if they get better performance.

I am not sure what to do here. I tried the reliability settings in Windows, and this is why my games are crashing. Not sure if that helps: Elden Ring: Description A problem with your program caused a crash. The computer stopped working correctly because of an error. Here is the updated text using simpler words:

I learned that my coworker has a similar computer setup too. He put my card into his PC and games started crashing, but he says his system works fine. I asked NVIDIA if they would cover this under their warranty policy.

It definitely looks like your graphics card is having trouble.

Final Update: They even covered their warranty for me, but back then I was out there for about three months so it wasn't exactly within their normal 3-year window. It took them a while to get started, and they asked me to finish a lot of things first. Yeah, my graphics card had the problem, but now I got a used one and everything is running super well. Thanks everyone!
