Do you believe it's possible to replace the CPU or motherboard? I don't think turning off cores is needed for functionality. Are there any local repair shops you could contact?

I recently purchased a new motherboard, specifically the MSI z790 tomahawk, which is what I’m currently using. Before that, I had the Gigabyte z790 elite ax, but it had the same issues, so I decided to upgrade. I’m not sure if the problem was with the CPU, and I’ll need to buy a new one first. I plan to start by getting some new RAM and see if that resolves the issue.

I started my PC with XMP enabled and noticed FIFA isn't crashing and runs smoother. It's working with hyperthreading and all E-cores turned off. I'm not sure what to conclude—it might be the CPU struggling with XMP, the E-cores, or hyperthreading.

I pulled the trigger and ordered a brand new CPU. This is the K version instead of the KF. I've been using it for two days now and all issues have gone away. Hyperthreading is on, all e-cores are active, RAM is XMP enabled, and my PC feels much smoother than before—it used to have some strange micro-stuttering. It seems my old 13700KF was defective, so I sent it back for replacement. I'm curious what they'll say.
