I added the newest release of FoxIt Reader (12.1.0.15250). Set up the complete installation. Declined the trial option. Restarted my computer. Launched Edge and opened a PDF—initially it worked with FoxIt Reader. Logged out, logged back in, waited for the preloader to finish, and then opened another PDF, which also launched with FoxIt Reader. I’m using Windows 11.

Are you all using Windows 10? I regret not having a Windows 10 installation... but if the problem lies with Windows 10, it might be better to ask for a fix from Windows 11 to return to Windows 10.

-I've mentioned this before. I've reverted my Win10 laptop, which keeps the OS intact instead of updating to something new. At least so far, Microsoft hasn't done much better in terms of customer service or OS improvements to make me think about upgrading.
