Are the CPU pins properly positioned?
I’ll make a few adjustments to clarify the instructions before you install the CPU. There’s some flexibility, but avoid misaligning the holes—it’s simple to do again during installation. The pins on the CPU can become hardened or brittle if bent too much, so try to keep bending them minimal and only when necessary. As long as the CPU is level and securely placed in the socket, everything should work fine.
Based on the density, I succeeded with slim plastic business cards or a worn-down plastic card.
I understand your frustration. It seems you had issues with your glasses right from the start. When installing the 58X3D, you used a long razor blade and made clicking sounds to check pin alignment. The socket should fix the remaining problems.
