Purchasing a X570 Mobo with a Ryzen 5 3600 might not provide significant benefits unless you're targeting specific workloads. It’s only better for applications requiring high input/output speed, typically used in machine learning and AI, not for gaming. In fact, switching from a good SATA 3 SSD to an NVMe PCIe 3.0x4 would go unnoticed in everyday use or gaming scenarios.

Typically, this question isn’t worth asking unless you’re targeting extremely high-speed SSDs or large arrays handling heavy input/output tasks. Unless you’re actively looking to gain an advantage, you likely aren’t using it.

In theory it's possible, though experiments have found minimal impact on today's systems. Still, as you mentioned, the benefits are small—around 5%—so we haven't reached full saturation even with PCIe3 x16 yet.
