I intend to upgrade my gaming PC soon. I’m evaluating brands like Logitech, Razer, and Corsair as potential replacements for my current Logitech G710+ keyboard, G13 Keypad, G430 Gaming Headset, and G502 FPS and G600 MMO gaming mice. While checking the websites of some gaming peripheral manufacturers, I observed that Razer appears to be the sole major brand offering a gaming keypad, and Razer along with Corsair seem to be the only ones providing MMO gaming mice with side-keypads. My goal is to purchase all gaming peripherals—keyboard, keypad, headset, and FPS and MMO mice—from a single manufacturer. Nevertheless, since certain brands limit their product lines and Razer faces challenges with its proprietary software according to some reviewers, I’m weighing the idea of sourcing the keyboard, headset, MMO mice from one brand like Corsair and the keypad from another if reviews seem favorable. Out of curiosity, I’ve lost touch with parts of the gaming PC peripheral market due to personal reasons. After reviewing products from the mentioned manufacturers, have gaming keypads and MMO mice become less popular? If so, what’s the reason behind this trend?

Most peripheral companies have carried out internal surveys to determine which peripherals are popular and what features users desire. If demand isn’t strong enough, brands typically refrain from investing or stocking those products—all aimed at maximizing profits.

It appears you’re using a predominantly Logitech setup, suggesting you might be interested in applying similar strategies to another brand with a broader range of hardware.

Brands like Roccat and Asus still offer MMO mice, while ROG Spatha X provides a gaming mouse with advanced features such as dual-mode connectivity, magnetic charging, customizable buttons, and ergonomic design.

For more details, you can visit rog.asus.com or explore the NEMESIS Switch Optical RGB Gaming Mouse on tteports.com.

Additionally, with many apps now bundled with peripherals, it’s simpler to set up macros or assign actions, reducing reliance on physical buttons—though keyboards remain a viable alternative. The gaming community is increasingly focusing on eSports titles rather than MMO games.
