Hello everyone,
I’ve noticed that my headphones and laptop speakers are labeled the same thing, "Speakers". I can tell them apart using the details inside the brackets, but when my headphones are connected and I switch from "Speakers (7.1 Surround Sound)" to "Speakers (Content SmartAudio HD)", the sound source stays on my headphones instead of changing.

I’d like to have a way to switch between the two audio outputs without having to unplug my headphones.
I suspect my laptop is using Smart Audio as the sound driver, but I’ve tried installing Realtek and it doesn’t seem to be recognized by the device manager—it’s not listed there.

Please note: I’m not sure how the drivers actually function or what’s happening with the audio setup.
My laptop model is Asus K550J with Intel i7 - 4720HQ, and my headphones are Razer Kraken X 7.1.
I’ve attached a picture to show the current display:

If you need any further details, feel free to reach out.
Thank you in advance for your help.

Need a driver for "Conexant Smart Audio" instead of "Content..." or "Realtek...".
