Hello.
Could you confirm if a gaming laptop is equivalent to a personal laptop? I want to know if I can perform the same tasks—like using emails, downloading apps, browsing with Google Chrome, watching videos, and downloading from the internet—as I would on a regular personal laptop. Also, how different are the options available on a gaming laptop compared to a personal one? Can I play games just like on a personal laptop?

Yes you are correct.
The "gaming laptop" could have a superior GPU.
Perhaps even more blinking lights.
Otherwise, it's the same OS and same performance.

Fancy colors on the keyboard.
Gamers seem to enjoy it.

"gaming" is a marketing phrase with limited meaning. It generally referred to a specific graphics chip and a more expensive model. In many laptops, the RAM can be replaced, while on lighter models it might be permanently attached and not modifiable.
