My game feels slow and jerky, even though I get high FPS. I have a 3070ti and an Intel Core i9-1100H, plus a monitor at 240Hz. Every time I start Apex Legends with or without V-Sync on, the game still looks laggy. Even when I try to match my frame rate to the monitor's refresh rate, it doesn't feel better. With all these specs, how could I run this game smoothly? Please help me fix this issue.

Could you send me all the details for my setup? Please list them in this order: CPU, Motherboard, RAM, Hard Drive or SSD, Graphics Card, Power Supply Unit, Case, Operating System, and Monitor.

Can I try some basic fixes first? This one is super simple and fits what most of us actually do too. Go to this YouTube link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i-NucOex...annel=TenZ Just follow every single step the guy in the video takes, because it matters a lot. Make sure you turn on Multicore Rendering in any game you play; otherwise, your computer will only use one core. Also, get the newest NVIDIA driver from their official website. Check that your motherboard BIOS and drivers are current too. I heard someone said having the wrong audio driver can make lagging worse. Be careful when updating your BIOS or drivers! Don't touch the computer until it's all finished; otherwise, you might brick (break) the board. Do some research before messing around. Are you using a Steam browser while playing? That could really hurt performance in my experience too. A bad power supply can make gaming feel shaky and unstable. Also, if you're running an i5 11900 on a budget motherboard like an H510 or B560 with weak VRM chips, things might break. The whole 11th generation board line had problems with the VRMs not handling many CPUs well. Watched someone explain this great video on hardware unboxing. Your i5 11900 gets really hot, so you need a good cooler too. Did you check your temps? Is it slowing down because of heat? Which cooling method are you using?

If that isn't working enough, check your Windows power settings and turn High Performance on. Other plans might limit how much power you use or change things too often. If this is happening, it can cause performance spikes or lag, even if the frame rate looks steady.
