Are console emulators real ?

Guys, I'm looking for ways to play xbone games on my PC. There are many emulators, some seem fake but others look quite authentic when I try to download or use them—they often ask for a survey. Are these real tools or just pretend? If they're fake, I won't waste my time. My main question is whether it's actually possible to play console games on a PC. Note: I understand these aren't official but if it doesn't work, I won't bother.

A few classic emulator setups exist, like Gameboy and PS2, while the newer ones are less certain.

The x360 and PS3 emulators are still being worked on. If a website says they have a fully functional version, treat it with skepticism... Use older systems if the sources are trustworthy.
