I refreshed my Bluetooth on the PC, which briefly cut off my speakers (including the 3.5mm aux option). After the update, to reconnect them I had to delete and re-add them as a new device. Once that was done, I couldn't adjust the volume through the PC but could only use the physical knobs on the speakers, which are manageable but less accurate. I attempted to reconnect again, but it didn't make a difference.

i experienced a similar situation via Windows Update, where Bluetooth was active but would not auto-connect to my headset or ear pods anymore without removing and re-adding them.
i removed all Bluetooth-related data using Device Manager, reinstalled the latest motherboard Bluetooth drivers, and then reinstalled the specific driver through Windows Update > Optional Updates.
since then everything has worked fine.
check in Control Panel > Sound to verify the device(s) are set and labeled correctly.
