A new PC was assembled several months ago, but games like Apex Legends, Fortnite, Remnant from the Ashes, and various Steam titles are failing to launch upon startup. On the Battle.net client, everything appears functional, yet any newly purchased or downloaded game—no matter the platform—will not start. A black screen appears briefly before the program closes. Checking the game files as an administrator didn’t help, even after resetting the PC. Please share your thoughts. Thank you.

Which operating system are you running? Are you using Windows 10 or 11? Is this a brand new installation? Have all required programs installed, including VC++, DirectX, .NET, and the latest BIOS/firmware?

Your message is incomplete for troubleshooting. Please share more specifics: exact GPU model, motherboard details, CPU specifications, gaming resolution, processor type, current temperatures, any overheating symptoms, and full PC hardware information.

For reference, provide complete system specifications whenever possible. If you're unsure about details like GPU make/model, BIOS version, or power supply age, let me know so I can help clarify.
