Hi, everyone! I'm trying to upgrade my LGA775 motherboard with the Q9650 chipset to reach 3.8~4.0ghz. The Arctic official site says i30 doesn't support LGA775, but I'm looking for a workaround like a custom plate. If that's not possible, could you suggest another cooler in the same price range (used) that would give me similar performance?

Personally, I would not spend $52 for that cooler (

Especially not on an older CPU with a locked multiplier. My 2.8 GHz Q9550 was able to easily reach 3.4GHz with nothing more than a bump to the FSB and this inexpensive cooler:

If you want to spend more money or want more bling, the 212 EVO is a good choice too.

But be sure you have room for it, as it is quite tall.
