Installed the Arctic Freezer 34 eSports Duo on my MSI B450 Gaming Plus Max. Even after correct setup, it still produces a rattling noise near 50% fan speed. Recording shows the sound when fans run at about 1200–1300 RPM. When I touch the cooler or fans or the RPMs shift above or below that range, the vibration stops and the noise ceases. The unit is functioning properly in terms of temperature control, but the persistent noise raises concerns about potential issues. Could this affect its reliability over time?

The sound isn't typical. Make sure there aren't any blockages like cables or wires. Verify the cooler is securely attached to the board—reinstalling might help if needed. Inspect the brackets holding the fans to the cooler for stability. Because you're using a dual fan setup, disconnect each fan individually to identify the source. With two fans, try matching their speeds to pinpoint the issue.

Consider testing it. If a fan is faulty, should the other be intake or exhaust on a device like this? It’s been this way for about a month—will you face permanent issues?

I would place it as intake. The Freezer 34 eSports has a single fan, and the intake is directing air through the cooler.

Now there are marks along its edges from not being correctly positioned next to the heatsink. Temperatures remain similar, with minor changes in some areas. I'm starting to wonder if the exhaust fan is still beneficial.
