My A10-6790k runs at 62-64°C according to Speccy, but the BIOS shows only 40-45°C. HWMonitor gave different results too. I’ve heard temperature programs aren’t very reliable for APU temps. Should I try fixing it? I’ve already replaced my cooler. Also, I’ve been playing demanding games like Fallout 4 and Dota 2 at high settings without issues. Are my readings accurate?

Are you referring to utilizing all 12 GPU cores together with the CPU cores, which would generate significantly more heat compared to a standard processor? You're suggesting it's handling two tasks at once instead of one.

No, you're not using all 12 GPU cores with the CPU. It seems like you're handling multiple tasks instead of just one. I'm not sure if you're still relying on the 12 GPU cores. Do you need help checking or turning them off?

The bios offers the choice to disable integrated graphics. If you don't have a 250 or 240, these are the only cards that can work with the a10 APU, similar to another card for even better performance. Adjust your graphics settings to PCIE in the BIOS.
